The Master's Voice
The Master's Voice was founded in 1988 at the Academy of Music in Stockholm and is one of Sweden's leading gospel choirs. The choir is still based in Stockholm and today consists of about 20 singers. We have different musical backgrounds which together form a unique sound. The choir is accompanied by pianist Jonathan Waldenfrid.
Beyond the vibrant and uplifting music, the lyrics carry deep meaning for us. The word Gospel comes from English and means “good news.” We have a desire to share the joyful message of Gospel music. We believe that God is so much greater than we can imagine, and we want everyone to have the chance to experience that.
The Master’s Voice performs in a wide variety of settings such as churches, festivals, Christmas concerts, as backing choir for artists, and in TV productions. Depending on the occasion and your preferences, the choir can be accompanied by a full band or by piano only.
